Volunteer members are expected to complete a duty once per term, which will involve assisting with fundraising activities. These duties are rostered in advance and you will receive notification via email. Volunteer members are required to complete duties.
Non-volunteer members are not required to help with any toy library activities.
Casual membership option suits grandparents or people who have family visiting for short periods of time. It is also great for members that don't want to commit to 12 months or have their own toys in transit while settling in the Mid Canterbury region. It does not include any rostered duties.
It is extremely important that toys are returned clean and dry. Please clean your toys thoroughly with warm soapy water or with antibacterial wipes and dry completely before returning.
Members are required to count the pieces of their toys when borrowing and returning them.
Overdue toys will be charged at the rental cost weekly until they are returned.
